Kansas Local Units of Government Lease Program

How the lease program works

Current Members of the KMEA, KMGA and KRWFA can participate in the newly created Kansas Local Units of Government Lease Program (the "Lease Program"). Non-members can participate by joining one of he aforementioned organizations.

With the simple steps described below, you can obtain financing in less than 30 days.

You initiate the Lease Program by contacting one of the persons listed here. We will then send you an application within two business days. ONce you return the completed application to the Financial Advisor, we will complete the credit evaluation process within five business days.

Next, the Special Tax Counsel will prepare and furnish all legal documents for your governing body to adopt toward participation in the Lease Program.

Then you will have the funds to finance your equipment or facility within five business days after you return the completed legal documents to the Financial Advisor.
